AI Job Matcher: Find Jobs That Match Your Resume
Upload your resume and tell us the roles, locations, and pay you want. ResumeUp.AI watches employer career pages around the clock and scores every new posting against your skills, title, level, location, and pay, so the jobs that fit show up first. Open any match to see why it scored the way it did, tailor your resume in one click, and apply, or let the AI job search agent apply for you.

Jobs Matched to Your Resume, Not to a Keyword Search
A job board shows you everything with your title in it. A job matcher reads your resume and preferences, scores each posting, and shows you the ones worth your time. LinkedIn’s own data shows candidates who apply within three days of a posting are 13% more likely to be hired, so new matches are scored daily and sorted by best score.
Set Your Job Preferences Once
Pick the roles you want (jobs in those roles score highest, and related roles still appear, ranked lower), your level, where you can work, remote, hybrid, or on-site, and a salary floor. Everything is pre-filled from your resume, and anything you change stays yours. Matching starts within minutes of saving.

Every Posting Gets a Match Score From 0 to 100
Each job is scored against your skills, job title and role family, seniority, location, and pay. Skills carry the most weight. Scores fall into four bands: Excellent (90 and up), Strong (78 and up), Good (65 and up), and Stretch. Open any job to see which factors earned points and which requirements you missed. If a posting doesn’t state a requirement, it is left out of the score rather than counted against you.

Matched on Your Skills, Not Just Your Job Title
Skills carry the most weight of anything in the score. They are pulled from your resume automatically, and you can add or remove any of them. Turn off “also use skills from my resume” and matching runs on the skills you listed alone. That is how a Python data engineer sees data engineering roles, not every job with “engineer” in the title.

Fresh Jobs From Employer Career Pages, Not Recycled Listings
Postings are pulled from the employer’s own careers site and applicant tracking system, including Workday, Greenhouse, Lever, and Ashby, as they go live, and scored the same day. Filter by posting age (14 days by default) and sort by best score or newest. Our August 2025 study of US job listings found 27.4% were ghost jobs that were never filled, which is why freshness comes first here.

What Job Seekers Say About ResumeUp.AI
Frequently Asked Questions
What is an AI job matcher?
An AI job matcher reads your resume and preferences, then scores job postings against them so you see the roles that fit instead of every listing with your title in it. ResumeUp.AI’s matcher scores each posting from 0 to 100 on skills, title, seniority, location, and pay, shows the reasons behind the score, and refreshes matches daily from employer career pages.
How do I find jobs that match my resume?
Upload your resume to ResumeUp.AI, confirm the roles, level, locations, and skills it pulled from it, and set a salary floor. Matching starts within minutes. Your jobs board then shows every new posting with a match score, sorted by best score, and you can filter by posting age, workplace type, job type, and experience level.
What is a job match score?
A job match score is a 0 to 100 estimate of how well a posting fits your profile. ResumeUp.AI builds it from weighted factors: skills (the heaviest), job title and role family, seniority, location and work style, and pay. Hard filters such as visa sponsorship or a blocked company reject a job outright. Scores fall into four bands: Excellent (90 and up), Strong (78 and up), Good (65 and up), and Stretch (below 65).
Why did a job score lower than I expected?
Open the job and read the breakdown. The most common reasons are skills the posting names that are not on your profile, a seniority mismatch, or a location outside your preferences. If the posting doesn’t state a requirement, it is left out of the score rather than counted against you. Add the missing skill to your preferences or resume and the score updates on the next run.
Where do the matched jobs come from?
From employers’ own career pages and applicant tracking systems, including Workday, Greenhouse, Lever, and Ashby, indexed as postings go live. You can also paste any job URL from those systems and ResumeUp.AI will index and score it like the rest. Postings are filtered by age, 14 days by default, so recycled listings don’t crowd out fresh ones.
Can I upload my resume and get job matches for free?
You can create a ResumeUp.AI account, upload your resume, and set your job preferences without a credit card. The free plan includes 20 AI credits for tailoring resumes and cover letters, unlimited ATS scans, the job tracker, and the Chrome extension. Tailoring a resume to a match uses credits; browsing your matches does not.
Does ResumeUp.AI apply to matched jobs for me?
Yes, if you turn it on. The AI job search agent applies to matches above the bar you set, newest postings first, with a resume tailored to each posting, and logs every application with its score and reason. You can also apply yourself from any match, with the Chrome extension filling in the form.
How is this different from LinkedIn or Indeed job recommendations?
LinkedIn and Indeed recommend jobs based on what you click and search on their own boards. ResumeUp.AI scores every posting against your actual resume and preferences, shows the factors behind the score, pulls postings from employer career pages rather than a single board, and lets you tailor your resume to a match in one click. Paste the ATS link for a job you found on LinkedIn or Indeed and it is scored too.
How often are new job matches added?
New postings are matched and scored for you daily, and matching starts within minutes of saving your preferences. Use the Past week filter and the Best score sort to see the freshest, strongest matches first. LinkedIn’s data shows candidates who apply within three days of a posting are 13% more likely to be hired.
Can I use the job matcher for remote jobs only?
Yes. Under work style and location, turn Remote on and Hybrid and On-site off, and those roles are removed from matching entirely. Remote roles qualify wherever they are based, and jobs that don’t state a location still appear, ranked lower.
