5 Best Simplify Alternatives in 2026 (Tested, With Pricing)
Simplify autofills forms, but auto-apply is a capped beta and there's no ATS score. Five tested alternatives with auto-apply, ATS checks, and real prices.

There were 7.3 million job openings in the US in July 2026, and LinkedIn’s January 2026 research shows applicants per open role have doubled since spring 2022, with 93% of recruiters planning to use more AI in hiring this year. The tools you use decide whether you get read or filtered.
Simplify autofills job application forms in one click, which saves time. But its auto-apply is still a beta capped at 20 submissions a week for some Simplify+ members, users report the autofill missing fields on Workday and Taleo, it has no resume score or ATS check, and Simplify+ pricing is not published.
So we tried five Simplify alternatives on what actually matters: resume quality, auto-apply, job tracking, and transparent pricing.
Disclosure: ResumeUp.AI is our own product. We judged it by the same criteria as everything else – features, pricing, and how well it actually helps users get interviews.
Updated September 28, 2026. Prices, ratings, and Simplify’s Autopilot beta re-checked.
Best Simplify Alternatives at a Glance
The best Simplify alternatives in 2026 are ResumeUp.AI, Koluvu.ai, Jobright, Huntr, and Teal.
ResumeUp.AI is the top pick: an AI job search agent that matches jobs to your profile from more than 100,000 job boards and ATS systems, scores every posting 0 to 100, and applies with one click or automatically above the bar you set, plus an ATS checker, LinkedIn optimizer, mock interviews, and cover letters, for $29 a month or $8.25 a month billed annually.
Koluvu.ai is the pick for anyone who wants a fully automated agent that finds and applies to jobs within about eight minutes of them going live.
Jobright is best for job seekers who want AI job matching and referral connections, and can live with unpublished pricing.
Huntr is the pick for job seekers who want one clean, organized system to track every application, follow-up, and interview stage.
Teal works best for job seekers who want a free, structured way to build a stronger resume and track applications.
What Is Simplify, and What Does Simplify+ Cost?
Simplify (simplify.jobs, also called Simplify Copilot) is a free Chrome extension, backed by Y Combinator, that fills in job application forms from your saved profile on what it says are 100,000+ company career sites, and tracks what you applied to.
It has no resume score or ATS checker, which is what people searching “Simplify ATS score” are looking for and not finding. The paid tier, Simplify+, adds AI resume tailoring and cover letters and, as of September 2026, an Autopilot beta that submits applications for a subset of paid members, capped at 20 successful submissions a week with no rollover. Simplify does not publish its prices; these are what users report seeing after signup:
Simplify+ plan | Price |
Weekly | $19.99 |
Monthly | $39.99 |
Quarterly | $89.99 |
There is no free trial of Simplify+ and no refunds. The free extension is rated 4.9 on the Chrome Web Store from about 3,800 ratings and 500,000 users; Simplify’s Trustpilot score is 3.2 from 18 reviews, 45% of them one star, with the complaints aimed at the paid tier.
Does Simplify Auto-Apply to Jobs?
Only in a limited beta. Simplify’s Autopilot, in beta for some Simplify+ members as of September 2026, opens the employer’s portal, fills it from your profile, tailors the resume and cover letter if you ask, and submits, capped at 20 successful submissions a week with no rollover or top-ups.
Everyone else gets Copilot, which autofills and leaves the submit click to you. If auto-apply is why you are leaving Simplify, the tools below that submit for you today are ResumeUp.AI and Koluvu.ai; Jobright’s Agent is still waitlisted, and Huntr and Teal do not apply for you.
Quick Comparison: Simplify vs Top Alternatives
Tool | Resume & ATS | Applications | Job tracking | Career tools | Starting price |
Simplify | No ATS checker | Chrome autofill; Autopilot beta (20 a week) | Basic Job tracker | Cover letter only | $39.99/mo |
ResumeUp.AI | Resume Builder + ATS | Auto-apply from 100K+ sources + Chrome | Tracker + Matching | LinkedIn + Interviews + Cover letter | $29/mo ($8.25/mo annual) |
Koluvu.ai | Resume Builder + ATS | Auto-Apply + Chrome | Tracker + Matching | LinkedIn + Interviews + Cover letter | $29/mo |
Jobright | Resume Builder | Chrome only | Tracker + Matching | Interviews + Cover letter | $39.99/mo |
Huntr | Resume Builder + ATS | Chrome only | Tracker | Cover letter | $40/mo |
Teal | Resume Builder + ATS | Chrome only | Tracker + Matching | LinkedIn + Cover letter | $29/mo |
Pricing and features verified on September 28, 2026. We recheck this table quarterly, so if you spot something out of date, it’s worth confirming on the vendor’s own pricing page before you buy.
Why Do Users Look for Simplify Alternatives?
Simplify has a loyal free user base, but a few real limitations push users to look elsewhere.
Auto-apply is a capped beta. Simplify fills in the form, and its new Autopilot beta submits for some Simplify+ members, capped at 20 successful submissions a week. Everyone else still finds every job and clicks submit. With applicants per role doubled since 2022, per LinkedIn, the time between a posting going live and your application landing is what an autofill tool cannot shorten.
No ATS resume checker or resume score. It doesn’t tell you whether your resume is optimized for the role you are applying to, which is the most common thing Simplify users go looking for elsewhere.
No LinkedIn optimizer or mock interviews. Simplify is purely an autofill tool. It doesn’t help you improve your profile, prepare for interviews, or strengthen anything beyond the form itself.
Autofill is weak on complex platforms. On Workday and Taleo, which power a large share of Fortune 500 hiring, users report Simplify’s autofill missing fields or filling them incorrectly.
No public pricing page. You only see Simplify+ pricing after signing up. No free trial and no refunds, which makes committing to the paid plan a risk.
Top 5 Simplify Alternatives
ResumeUp.AI: Best All-in-One Alternative With Auto-Apply

ResumeUp.AI is an all-in-one job search platform that does everything Simplify cannot. Its agent matches jobs to your profile from more than 100,000 job boards and ATS systems, scores each from 0 to 100, and applies with one click or automatically above the bar you set. It also builds your resume, checks it against the job you are applying to, writes your cover letter, tracks your applications, optimizes your LinkedIn, and prepares you for interviews. Pro is $29 a month, or $8.25 a month billed annually.
Autofill does nothing about the filter that rejects most applications: Harvard Business School found 88% of employers admit their screening software rejects qualified candidates. ResumeUp.AI scores the resume against the posting and fixes the gaps before anything is sent.
