Where It Falls Short

• You pay before you see anything. There’s no free version, prices only appear after you sign up, and the cheapest plan is $49 a month. The $5 trial renews at $171 unless you untick the pre-selected add-ons (details below).

• It applies to the wrong jobs. Applications go out for roles far below the person’s level, in cities and industries they never picked, and in countries where they can’t legally work.

• More applications don’t help. One job seeker sent 800 applications in 30 days and got no interviews. If the wrong jobs are being picked, sending more of them changes nothing.

• It repeats itself. The same jobs get applied to again and again, along with errors that can’t be cleared.

• Billing is the biggest complaint. Subscriptions are hard to cancel, refunds take weeks or never arrive, and support is slow to reply.

• US jobs only. Anyone applying for jobs from outside the US gets matched to roles they can’t take.

How Much Does JobHire.AI Cost?

There’s no free plan. Every plan is paid, and what changes is how many jobs it applies to a day. JobHire.AI does not publish prices: its FAQ names three tiers (Standard, Pro, and Extended) and sends you to the pricing section after you create an account. The numbers below are what the signup flow showed in August 2026.

• Basic – $49 a month, applies to 40 jobs a day

• Enhanced – $99 a month, applies to 100 jobs a day

• Enhanced, 3 months – $199, applies to 100 jobs a day

There’s also a $5 trial for 3 days of full access, but read it closely. It runs on the Enhanced plan, and three add-ons come pre-ticked at $24 a month each, so unless you untick them and cancel within 3 days, it renews at $99 + $72 = $171 a month.

Is JobHire.AI Legit? Ratings and User Reviews

JobHire.AI is a real service, not a fake one, and some people do land interviews through it. The complaints are about billing and fit, not about the product not existing. Its homepage says users get hired “3x faster than with LinkedIn,” with no source given. Here is what the review sites show.

• On Trustpilot, JobHire.AI holds 4.1 out of 5 from 992 reviews. The split explains the gap between the score and the complaints: 63% are five stars, and 15% are one star, the second-largest group. The one-star reviews are the unprompted ones, and they are about billing.

• BBB Scam Tracker holds three user reports against JobHire.AI (July 2024, January 2026, and July 2026) with losses of $49 to $300. They describe far fewer applications than advertised, debit charges that continued after cancellation, and refunds that never arrived. JobHire.AI has no BBB Business Profile, so there is no BBB grade.

• On Reddit, job seekers say the same things: paid add-ons that didn't work, no interviews after weeks of trying, and applications sent to jobs they weren't qualified for.

ResumeUp.AI wins on ownership. You end up with a real resume file you can download, edit, and send anywhere, on any board or in any email, long after you stop paying.

JobHire.AI leaves you with a subscription instead. The tailored resume is a paid add-on, and one Reddit user says that once they stopped paying for it, the tool stopped applying altogether. You're renting the applying, and you don't keep anything when you stop.

Getting Results: Volume vs Fit

ResumeUp.AI comes out ahead on what actually lands. It scores each posting against your profile before the agent applies, then scores your resume against that exact job, shows the keywords you're missing, and fixes them, so each application is built to get through the filter instead of just adding to a count.

JobHire.AI bets on volume, and the reviews suggest it doesn't pay off. One person sent 800 applications in 30 days and got no interviews. Another got 46 of the 120 they were promised. Sending 100 applications a day does nothing if none of them fit. Volume is what everyone else is doing already: recruiters describe drinking through a fire hose, with popular roles pulling 300 to 500 applications in three days, per CNBC.

Pricing: Transparent vs the $171 Trap

ResumeUp.AI is the clearer deal. It's one plan with 20 free credits to try first, no add-ons to untick, and no trial that renews at a higher price. Month to month, it's $29 against JobHire's $49 Basic, 41% less. On the annual plan it's $8.25 a month, 83% less than Basic and 92% less than Enhanced.

JobHire.AI starts at $49 a month, and the $5 trial comes with $72 a month of add-ons already ticked, so it renews at $171. One reviewer was charged $171 on the third day and had to dispute it with their bank, and the three BBB Scam Tracker reports say the same about charges after cancellation. That pattern is exactly what the FTC's Click-to-Cancel rule targeted. The Eighth Circuit vacated that rule in July 2025 on procedural grounds, and the FTC reopened rulemaking in March 2026, so for now the protection you have is your card issuer's dispute process, which is where several reviewers ended up.

Which Should You Choose?

• You only need US roles and don't care which boards they come from

• You're applying to US roles in high-volume, generalist fields
